Overview
Crosby Construction served as the general contractor for a major expansion and modernization of the Town of Bristol Wastewater Treatment Plant, increasing treatment capacity while bringing the facility into compliance with updated Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) requirements. The project included the installation of a new Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) system, influent pump station, headworks structure, UV disinfection structure, primary clarifier, and a new control and maintenance building. These comprehensive improvements enhanced the plant's operational efficiency, treatment performance, and long-term reliability, ensuring the community has a wastewater treatment system equipped to support future growth and evolving regulatory standards.
Take a look at this all-day concrete pour for the Town of Bristol's new Wastewater Treatment Plant. Working alongside the Town of Bristol and Commonwealth Engineers, Crosby Construction replaced the community's 1970s-era facility with a new three-basin Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) system.
